Found this while driving from the east coast to Denver CO and trying to avoid fast food. It was perfect. Fast service, great food! If you're looking for a random stop outside St Louis, this is an excellent choice!

Absolutely the BEST margaritas around!! The food and service is outstanding. We come here at least 3 or 4 times a month. Best Mexican food we have found within 50 miles!!
Really good food and service! Chips and salsa are the best around. Margaritas are stealthily strong. Always happy when we come here. Was a perfect Cinco de Mayo! It is a smaller establishment and parking can get tough.
Third time is the charm. I was coming back late from a work trip and decided to stop for dinner. Couldn't get in to Joe's Pizza. Couldn't get in to the BBQ place right next door to Terra Sur that I love either. Tried these guys for the first time and I'm glad I did. I wanted quick but not the pre-made order-by-number kind of quick so I opted for their chicken with chorizo and cheese sauce. I arrived in a reasonable amount of time and was quite enjoyable. The chicken was tender and juicy but still cooked through. Chorizo was a bit more mild than I'm used to getting but still added a nice punch to the dish. Blanketed with cheese...just so you know it's not an authentic Mexican dish but rather an Americanized one. Regardless, it was exactly what I wanted at the moment and Terra Sur delivered. Still haven't been to a Joe's but this dinner was a nice reminder that I don't need to be in a hurry to get to a chain restaurant when there are good family-owned places in the area.

We visited Terra Sur on a busy Friday night and we couldn't have been happier with our visit. The chips and salsa were exactly what we were hoping for and the food was perfect as well. I ordered the chori pollo and my wife ordered the pollo playa. We will both repeat our orders on our next visit.
Great choice for delicious Mexican while you're in Troy. They have an extensive menu and specials everyday, so ask about those. I got their burritos locos, which were pretty good but portion size seemed a bit small. Meat was tender and delicious. My wife got the shrimp fajita bowl and really enjoyed it too. She was impressed by how everything was cooked to perfection and served piping hot! Overall, our family had a great time here!
